Join a group of fun minded people The Adventure Club and curious soulsthe Paranormal Research Forum for their 19th annual trip to explore the possibilities in the universe. The first seven years traveling to a remote area of Utah were lots of fun, eye opening and memorable, meeting lots of fascinating people in the beautiful canyon country.

Those that attended our 2006 trip experienced a couple of "out of this world" light shows. During Friday evening's campfire gathering we had several unexplanable flashes of light that were happening within 10 feet of a number of people followed by a an amazing light display in the night sky that was clearly not a satellite or explainable. One person was fortunate enough to view one of the cantelope size streaks of light directly. It was about 15 feet from her and traveled a distance of approximately 10 feet in a swirling path a few feet off the ground.

Our 19th year to the San Luis Valley in south central Colorado is certain to prove interesting, beautiful, informative and enlightening as always. We usually have the opportunity to visit with people in the area that have had some very amazing experiences they've been willing to share. It's up to everyone to form their own opinions about what's going on here but I'm certain ALL would agree there are many unexplainable occurrences that continually take place in this unique valley. The San Luis Valley extends from just south of Salida, CO on the north end to Taos, NM at the south. For centuries the 13 Native American tribes known to have inhabited the valley all realized and held the valley (referred to as The Peaceful Valley" by Native Americans) as sacred and having magical or unworldly powers.

Driving Tips

On Hwy 285 (very scenic) it takes about 3 1/2 hours from Denver off W-470 and slightly longer on I-25 depending on traffic conditions. Area Map Carpooling from I-70 & Ward RTD Lot (N/W Corner) 9:30 AM Friday.

Take Highway 17 south from Salida

... also known as "abduction alley"

Location

We will again be visiting the Oasis Campground (see aerial photo below) immediately south of the Great Sand Dunes National Monument. Traveling along Hwy 17 (the main north/ south Highway through the San Luis Valley) take Road 6N, located immediately north of the town of Mosca, east about 15 miles. Turn left (north) at the "T" intersection about 2 miles north to the Oasis Campground on the east side of the road (can't miss it, it's the ONLY thing out there except for the unexplained). Area Map

Unusual occurrences such as hundreds of cattle mutilations, hundreds of documented reports of bizarre flying craft since the 1700's, mysterious flying orbs, apparitions, and even a horse dropped from the sky into the top of a large cottonwood tree in the area.
